The government of Jamaica has created a special incentive whereby we pay no duty on imported items sold to visitors.
This allows travelers leaving our country to purchase merchandise free of sales taxes and duties, with the understanding that the goods will be consumed after they have left Jamaica.
Most countries have a duty free allowance limit, the USA’s being $800 per person. Please check with your government for your duty free allowance.
